This award recognises outstanding sports betting and gaming industry leaders who have shown exceptional leadership during the last 12 months. Nominees' ability to demonstrate excellence, innovation, and leadership are the deciding factors for becoming the Leader of the Year.

Katerina's exemplary demonstration of these qualities significantly contributed to Parimatch Tech's business success over the last year. The company has developed one of the fastest growing platforms in Eastern Europe and invested heavily in the sustainability strategy implementation – both in-house and through Parimatch Foundation. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Katerina focused most of Parimatch Tech's and Parimatch Foundation's resources on financial aid and humanitarian efforts, which helped to bring about UAH 14.5 million worth of assistance to thousands of people and support the stability of Parimatch Tech's business.

I am honoured to receive this recognition from one of the most prestigious awards in the industry. 2022 is a challenging year, but with the immense support from my team that turns my strategic input into real, significant, and fulfilling results, we stand stronger than ever despite all challenges. I am grateful to everyone who contributed to this victory and to those who recognised our efforts. As a Leader of the Year 2022, I can only pledge that we will continue to move forward with the same determination.

Katerina Biloruska, co-Owner, member of the Supervisory Board at Parimatch Tech, and a Chairwoman at Parimatch Foundation

Katerina's ability to lead with certainty and calculation even in times of extreme turbulence, combined with compassion and heart, made her an example for all Parimatch Tech people worldwide. And now that she was named the Leader of the Year by the SBC Awards 2022, her exemplary leadership is recognised by the industry's international community.
