Parimatch and StarLadder launch Parimatch League CS:GO

Parimatch and StarLadder are launching Parimatch League CS:GO — Virtus.pro, Team Spirit and forZe have already confirmed their participation.

16 teams from Europe and the CIS will take part in the League: 12 invited teams and 4 winners of qualifications.

Parimatch League CS:GO is the new online league in the discipline of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive from Parimatch and StarLadder with a total prize pool of $100 000. 16 teams from Europe and the CIS will take part in it, four of them will be selected by open qualifiers available to all teams from these regions.

According to the format, the League will be divided into three main stages: open qualifications, group stage and final. Teams will be divided by region: 8 teams from Europe and 8 teams from the CIS will play in their groups to determine two winners in each.

Virtus.pro, Team Spirit and forZe received the invitations and have already confirmed their participation in Parimatch League CS:GO. Other participants who received direct invitations will be announced in the nearest future.

It’s time to focus our resources on events that take place online. For a long time we have been looking for the opportunity to cooperate with StarLadder in the CS:GO discipline, in which our partners have the strongest expertise and an impeccable reputation. After the good results of our League in Dota2, expressed in the interest of the audience and the number of views, the organization of the CS:GO tournament under its brand was just a matter of time. We are partners of the leading Esports clubs in the CIS, and it was logical for them to be the first to receive direct invitations to our tournament. I am glad that they responded and found an opportunity to participate. I also want to emphasize the fact that in such a tournament with a solid prize pool of $100 000 there is an opportunity for ambitious newcomers to try their fortune against recognized teams if they manage to qualify. Good luck to the participants. I’m sure that the viewers who stay home and thus help to resolve the situation in the world will enjoy our tournament

After the success of Major Berlin, the most prestigious tournament of the discipline, held by StarLadder, we wanted to realize our idea with regional leagues. Thanks to our partners, Parimatch, we have prepared an eventful and convenient match schedule for viewers and fans of teams from the CIS and Europe. And the impressive prize pool for an online league, will help attract the best teams
