Our team is building a high load and real-time transaction processing platform with over 300M transactions per day and growing. The project is written from scratch on latest tech stacks with dynamically scalable microservices/cluster architecture in mind. We are a TDD and Agile followers and looking for a Project Manager with a passion to do things right.
We invite those who fired up to:
— Collaborate with business, 3d party (content providers), engineering, and other teams to define and own projects and features;
— Proactively solve day-to-day challenges and exercises sound judgments;
— Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope;
— Effectively communicate relevant project information to the stakeholders and team;
— Collaborate with 3d party (content providers) a) during integrations; b) in case of any production issues or business changes;
— Work with business/product management to agree on production schedules;
— Route work between all responsible people in all stages of development;
— Hold regular status/daily meetings within the team;
— Resolve and/or escalate issues promptly;
— Monitor scope creep and re-scopes projects if necessary;
— Link the company Strategy to the Teams;
— Set the direction of the teams that are in line with company strategy;
— Nurture team and individual growth (develop, retain);
— Recruiting and staffing (make sure the developer team has appropriate skills to meet business needs).
Essential professional experience:
— 2+ years of IT project management (running development projects and teams in the role of Project Manager);
— Proven ability to manage teams of 7+ people and deliver multiple projects;
— Advanced skills in using project support/monitoring tools such as JIRA and Confluence;
— Understanding of change and risk management;
— Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum;
— Passion for building an efficient, reliable and motivated team.
— Experience in software development as a developer, QA, team lead, and/or team manager;
— Experience in the gambling industry;
— Experience with high-load system;
— Experience with leading/managing back-end teams;
— Experience in team recruitment, on-boarding, mentoring.
